INVITATION FOR 2.100 m LONG RACE FOR PUPILS FROM 6th TO 9th GRADE OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

1. VENUE
Ljubljana city centre and outskirts.

2. DATE AND TIME OF THE EVENT
Saturday, 23 October 2010. Starting time: 2.15 p.m.

5. COURSE LENGHT
The length of the course is 2.100 m.

6. STARTING TIMES
  - boys 6th and 7th grade (born 1998 and 1999) at 2.15. p.m.
  - girls 6th and 7th grade (born 1998 and 1999) at 2.30. p.m.
  - boys 8th and 9th grade (born 1996 and 1997) at 2.45. p.m.
  - girls 8th and 9th grade (born 1996 and 1997) at 3.00. p.m.

7. DATES
Your can register at web page www.ljubljanskimaraton.si by 19 october 2010.

8. CATEGORIES
There will be races for teams and individuals. Team has eight competitors; the results will be based on the best two competitors of each category. The competitors can receive negative points.
Categories:
  - boys 6th and 7th grade (born 1998 and 1999)
  - girls 6th and 7th grade (born 1998 and 1999)
  - boys 8th and 9th grade (born 1996 and 1997)
  - girls 8th and 9th grade (born 1996 and 1997)

9. INSURANCE, LIABILITY AND HEALTH
Each participant takes part in the competition at his/her own risk. Medical help will be available along the course and at the finish line.

10. COURSE
All races start at Šubičeva ulica and finish at Trg republike. The course will run through the city centre and the outskirts of Ljubljana.

11. AWARDS
The first three individual race competitors will receive medals and practical awards, the first three teams will receive trophies. All who finish the race will receive a memorial medal.

12. AWARDS CEREMONY
An awards ceremony will take place at Trg republike at 3.30 p.m.

13. GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS
All the races are organised and directed under the AZS (Athletic Federation of Slovenia), IAAF (International Athletic Federation) and this invitation.
Information about the competition will be available at Timing Ljubljana, Staničeva 41, 1000 Ljubljana, phone ++ 386 1 234 8000 by 19 october 2010.
Official results will be displayed on two notice boards after the end of the competition. Official results will also be published on http://www.ljubljanskimaraton.si.
A Complaints Committee will deal with any complaints that may arise, on the day of the race at the secretary's office at Trg republike. Written complaints should be submitted to the Committee with a deposit of 20 EUR.
